Terms and Conditions
When taking charge of a hire vehicle, the hirer must sign a contract. By signing, they agree to the terms and conditions. They also agree to the rates laid out. The hirer shall take full responsibility of the total value of the vehicle. in respect of the responsibility of the total value vehicle in respect of the payment and any costs incurred.
USE OF VEHICLE
The Sub-hiring of the vehicle without prior permission from the Leaser is forbidden. It is also forbidden to propel or tow other vehicles. Vehicle documents, tires, tools, keys, and accessories are the renter's responsibility. The renter will undertake to keep them and drive the vehicle in compliance with the Spanish Highway Code. NOT to use the vehicle for racing. competitions or challenges of any kind. That the driver is involved in any infraction or accident and is above the legal limits.
FUEL
The hirer must make sure the correct fuel is deposited into the vehicle. If not, the hirer shall pay for any costs incurred.
DRIVING LICENSE
The hirer must have held a current full driving license with no less than 1 years' experience.
PAYMENT
Payment is in full on receipt of the vehicle, unless arranged beforehand with Leaders Car Rental.
ALCOHOL AND DRUGS
All drivers are responsible for any charges incurred for the recovery. of the vehicle resulting in it being confiscated due to the hirer being under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
INSURANCE
All cars are legally registered and insured for the purpose of renting in Spain. The policy covers damages to third parties only. A collision damage waiver is available for 5 euro per day.
RENTAL CHARGES
The renter must pay the leaser. Those rates for rental, delivery, and collection. insurance. fuel and taxes at the lenders current rates. The application of the liability agreed charges depending on the return of the vehicle at the agreed location. That the money paid for fuel is non-refundable. If the vehicle comes back with any fuel, belongings missing charges for loss of documents and car keys. which are valued at 150 euros. The renter is also liable for the expenses arising from the wrong type of fuel.
If the vehicle is returned in a condition that requires a special clean, a company other than Leaders Car Rental must do it. The renter will be charged up to 200 euros. Any fines or legal costs arising from traffic violation or any other breach of laws, rules or local regulation by the hirer.
ACCIDENTS
In case of an accident the hirer agrees to the following
To obtain full details of the parties involved. and of any witness. filling in an accident report which you must send to the leaser within 24 hours from the accident. You must not abandon the vehicle, adopting the adequate measures for its protection.
RETURN OF THE VEHICLE
The renter must return the rented vehicle, together with vehicle documents, tires. Tools and accessories at the location and time stated on the front of the contract Non-compliance with this condition shall entitle the leaser to charge the renter for any missing item and or to charge the renter the rental rate for any extra days, as well as a penalty for financial loss that amounts to 50) euros per day. When the vehicle is left in a different place from that stated in the contract, the leaser may charge the rental rate. This rate corresponds to the days needed to recover the vehicle. It also includes time to bring it back to operating condition.
COMPULSORY CHILD SEATS
In case the renter uses the vehicle to transport children under 3 years of age or children over 3 years of age who are 150 centimeters or less, the renter must inform the leaser. who Shall supply. LEADERS CAR RENTAL LIABILITY
The company Leaders Car Rental delvers the car to the hirer in an order to avoid accidents caused by mechanical failure of the vehicle of any of Its parts Therefore, Leader Car Rentals Will not assume any responsibility or liability for any accident due to the mishandling or manipulation of the vehicle by the hirer or a third person. The current contract by the Spanish Law and any discrepancy which may arise with respect to the interpretation or execution of the same. With reference to the Spanish version of the same the parts submit themselves expressly to the competence of the courts and tribunals of Torrevieja, denouncing any other jurisdiction Having read this document.
